Our Mission and Vision

Creating Inclusive Digital Communities for Connection and Growth

OUR MISSION

At Last First Foundation, we are committed to forging a safe and inclusive digital community that addresses the unique needs of older adults, neurodivergent individuals, the homebound, physically disabled, disabled veterans, and those facing depression or social challenges. The innovative MMOSG platform we are building will combat isolation and loneliness by fostering personal growth and meaningful connections through a variety of enriching activities such as educational programs, live-streamed cultural events, social activities, and virtual tourism. We will be bridging digital interactions with real-world communities, continuously evolving our services and embracing new technologies to enhance the lives of our members and expand their horizons.

OUR STORY

The inception of Last First Foundation was sparked by a profound personal experience. Our founder, a game art and development major, was moved by the words of a hospice chaplain who highlighted the stark reality that many elderly and disabled individuals are often left isolated. This revelation came at a time of personal loss, with the passing of both parents, cared for single-handedly by our founder. It was this pivotal moment that ignited a commitment to use a decade of experience in creating virtual world environments to forge a space where no one would feel alone.

Currently, our MMOSG is in the early stages of development. As the sole artist and developer, our founder is diligently modeling and crafting the digital realms that will soon host a vibrant, inclusive community. The journey to bring this vision to life is ongoing, and while progress is steady, the pace could be accelerated with the support of additional volunteers skilled in game development and art. We invite other passionate creators to join us in this meaningful endeavor, to build not just a game, but a sanctuary for those often overlooked by society.
